Senior Portraits: Sometimes it Takes a Village!

This was our first session at Pleasant Point.  For this senior (and her family), it’s a location that holds a lot of fond memories, so it was the perfect setting for her senior portraits.  We always love trying new locations, and we love it even more when there is a personal connection.

That being said, there were some photographic “challenges” that we needed to work with: trees in the wrong place, sun shining in the wrong direction, extreme sun reflections on the river.  It’s a good thing she came with her mom, a younger sister and her boyfriend.  At one point or another, we used ALL of them during the session, and sometimes in very unconventional ways (Thanks, Nicholas!).  In the end, everyone laughed and had a great time AND we got some great shots like these.
